Book Description The Alladi Memorial Trust was founded in 1983 by Alladi Kuppuswami, tocommemorate the birth centenary of his father, the late Dr AlladiKrishnaswamy. The objects of the Trust include holding lectures andseminars on issues relating to the Indian Constitution, which areintended to apprise the general public of the various debatesconcerning constitutional law. The essays in this volume comprise thetexts of fourteen such lectures - including the Alladi Memoriallectures and the Umamaheswaram Memorial lectures - and some seminarpapers.
