He presently occupies the position of an Additional District & Sessions Judge (Fast Track Court), Manipur East, Imphal, since the year 2002.The author has held positions of Munsiff /Maglstrate (1981-1989), Senior Civil Judge-cum-Asst. Sessions Judge, Chief Judicial Maglstrate-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Committee/ Authority, Deputy Registrar (Judicial), Gauhati High Court, Imphal Bench (1989-2001).Apart from the above, the author has held first position in Mtmsiff/Magistrate Recruitment Examination, 1981 as well as the fourth position in IX B examination. He has also participated in various courses like the 22nd orientation Course in Criminology & Forensic Science at ICFS, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi; Advanced Courses on Constitutional Law, Adjudication, Governance and Role of Judiciary, ADR etc. at National Judicial Academy, Bhopal (India), etc.............................................................................................................................
