Author Details Dr. G.B. Reddy, the author, teaches law in the prestigious faculty of law, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has been teaching Constitutional and Administrative Law, Intellectual property, Woman and the law, Legal language and legal writing and law of consumer protection etc., for both LLB and LL.M students for the last one decade. Dr. Reddy has had a brilliant academic career and was a triple gold medalist in LL.B. and the University topper. He also secured a gold medal in LL.M (Constitutional Law). He obtained his Ph.D degree from Osmania University on the topic "Supreme Court and Judicial Activism". Prior to joining the academics, he practiced law in A.P. High Court and lower courts at Hyderabad, for more the six year. He has the distinction of qualifying for the Junior Research Fellowship of UGC from Department of Law Osmania University and he was the first candidate to do so. Dr. Reddy has so far authored six well received books including "Women and the law", Intellectual Property Rights & the law, Law of Consumer Protection and Judicial Activism in India. He published more than 20 articles in standard legal journals, like the Journal of Indian law Institute, Indian Bar Review, Supreme Court Journal and All India Reporter. Dr. Reddy is a visiting faculty at the International Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ICADR), the A.P. Excise Academy, and the Centre for Cultural and Resources training, Hyderabad etc., and he has attended a number of national seminars and conferences and contributed research papers.
