Description
Incessant demand for Professor Shastri's book on Environmental Law has been a great motivation for the author to bring out the third edition. Moreover, in this growing field of law, the rapid increase in case law and newer statutory provisions have mandated the production of the next edition.
The book is divided into thirteen chapters to study the various aspects of environment protection and improvement. It refers to more than 230 Supreme Court and high court decisions, incorporating all the latest case law up to April 2008. Many decisions have been given in the appendix of the book, enabling the reader to refer to the original text of the decisions.
The author has also taken care to incorporate all relevant statutory law, with amendments.
