The articles endeavour to study and analyse the subjects in their proper perspective vis-a-vis human dignity and democracy.

Prof. Mool Chand Sharma, Vice-Chairperson, University Grants Commission, New Delhi states about the book:
"... I am sure this work would constitute a major contribution to the existing literature on the subject and would be of relevance not only to scholars of human rights and development but also to those engaged in the struggle for human rights and sustainable development in the field and at the grass-root level."
