Kusum, MA., LL.M. (Delhi University) is a former research professor from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, a premier legal research Institute in the country. She has authored and co-authored several books and projects; a regular writer for leading newspapers, magazines and law journals, she has been a columnist for "Caravan" (a fortnightly from Delhi) and "Imprint" (a monthly periodical from Bombay).
She has been on deputation to the Law Commission of India, and is also associated with the National Commission for Women and Delhi Legal Services Authority.
As a recipient of UNDP Human Rights Fellowship and also a founder director member of the International Association of Bioethics (Australia) she has visited various countries, like Australia, New-Zealand, China, Korea, France, Holland, UK, Switzerland, Sweden, etc., to attend conferences and seminars and pressent papers and reports.
