The author was awarded an LLM degree in corporate and commercial laws by the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London, in the year 1996. He also holds a diploma from the Indian Academy of International Law and Diplomacy on International Law and Diplomacy. He has represented various multinational clients in mega construction disputes including captive power plants, oil refineries, roads, national highway, earth dam projects and other infrastructure projects before Arbitral Tribunals, the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts of India.He has conducted several workshops organised by ALB (Singapore) and ConventionPro International in Singapore and Indonesia on the commercial laws of India and the Indian arbitration law. He is a regular speaker at the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA) Congress and had spoken at the Fez (Morocco) and Paris Congress on issues relating to international litigation. He was a speaker and Chairperson at the Asia Law Pacific Conference on "Enforcement of Arbitration Awards" in Singapore.The author is a member of the Lincoln's Inn, the Supreme Court Bar Association of India and the International Bar Association.He has authored the Indian Chapters of International Comparative Legal Guide to International Arbitration (2007), Dispute Resolution - PLC Cross-Border Dispute Resolution Handbook (2007) and International Labour & Employment Law (2005) by Aspatore Books.He is currently practising as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of India and primarily handles matters relating to international commercial arbitration, international trade and business transactions and international litigation.............................................................................................................................
