Enrolled as an Advocate on 4th April, 1970 he practiced in High Court of Kerala and Subordinate Courts at Ernakulam in Service Law, Labour Laws and Civil Laws. Appointed as Government pleader in the Kerala High Court in June, 1979 and served upto January, 1983 and also as standing Counsel in High Court for Kerala State Civil Supplies Corporation and Greater Cochin Development Authority.
