Author Details A first class post graduate in Linguistics and a graduate in Law, Shri. R.K. Bag is a Judicial Office of the cadre of District Judge of West Bangal Judicial Service. He is the author of three law books entitled "Law of Medical Negligence and Compensation","Supremecourt on Criminal Lae", and "Service Law of Government Employees". His books are extolled by many eminent jurists of the country. He regularly conributes articles on law to the professional journals. His research articles on "Victimology in the conext of Criminal Justice System in India" and "Crime against Women - Criminal Justice Response in India" were published in the Journal of Indian Law Institute. Shri Bag served Sardar Vllabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad as Assistant Director (law) for about five years and in that capacity taught criminal law and constitutional law to the I.P.S. officers udergoing induction and in - service training in the Academy. He attended 12th International Congress on Criminology at Seoul, South Korea in August, 1998 as delegate of Government of India.
